Progress Report

Further to our shop refurbishment, we are happy to announce that the full range of stock on our ground floor (Current and recent comics, graphic novels, vintage American comics 1940s-1970s, British Annuals and TV21s) is now back on display and available again.

Work continues in our basement area (most British comics, American comics 1980s-1990s, magazines, undergrounds etc) and we hope to have that floor open again early in the New Year. In the meantime, we can now offer our full range of stock by mail order. If we have it, we can now find it again!

Website updates for new incoming stock should also recommence very soon!

Shop Now Re-open!

We are now re-open seven days a week during our normal trading hours, following the fire above our shop and our subsequent refurbishment. We have all the latest issues (including all major releases during the period of our closure) and graphic novels/vintage collections. Standing order customers will be able to collect their orders and will not have missed an issue.

Please note however, that only a very restricted back issue range is immediately available. All our stock has had to be moved following redecoration and all our fixtures and fittings dismantled. As you may imagine, with the vast quantity of back issues we have in stock, rebuilding our displays and sorting everything back into order is a major task which is going to take a few weeks. We are working round the clock 7 days a week to get that done. In particular, our basement area is likely to remain mostly closed until the New Year. Our full back issue range will become available gradually over the coming weeks. You are strongly advised to check with us before making a journey if you’re looking for specific back issues.

We look forward to seeing you in our spiffy improved premises!’
